- As a name suggestion "Beautifowl" Beautiful - Fowl (type of bird).
- As a design suggestion for pokemon in general you should probably make the tail feather design more simple. Leaves randomly in multiple directions is difficult to draw a lot. Simplifying it so a feather = a single stem with leaves coming off side by side with flowers blooming in the middle. Then when the bird is to fly it folds up it's "feathers" Like two hand held collapsible fans into the middle.
- I do agree with p1p2 that the flowers should at least have two colors of variation. Maybe have it so the colors vary in a pattern.
- As for the feathers connecting to the base you can have flower pedals covering them so it looks like a flora scrunchy when the tail compresses.
- The legs would benefit from being brown as well as the beck. The legs being brown to look like plant roots sort of and the beak to show some color consistency in the body.
- It would be cute that instead of those little pollen fringes on the neck go all the way up the head to make it so they line the back of the neck and at the head top a "side hat" flower.
- The eyes and face look to serious try to lighten it up. This pokemon is to be elegant, beautiful, and happy (or smug). The face needs more cartooning. I like that it looks like an actual peacock but for pokemon liberties are taken to stray pokemon from being too close or make them comically close.

This is stunning! But why are the flowers all the same color? Why not different colors?

Oh, & I saw this as well as the other starters, & this is the most gorgeous one. I'm not all too fond of grass starters that aren't reptilian, but this one is a major exception & would work perfectly well as one. Beautiful Pokemon.

I used the name "Leafowl" (Leaf + Peafowl) for my Peacock Pokemon. So maybe that works for you?
